According to the Final public report - Safer Internet center Slovenia, in 2012 95 % of Slovenian youngsters aged between 9 and 16 used the Internet. This figure was slightly higher than the European Union average, which was 93 %.
More Slovenian children ( 73 %) used the Internet every day or almost every day than their EU peers ( 60 %).

Our youngsters also spent more time online. While the EU average was 88 minutes, Slovenian youngsters spent 11 minutes more. Three quarters of them (74%) had a profile on a social networking site while the EU average was 59 %.
