If you ask me wearing a school uniform is taken for granted for most of the pupils in English speaking countries. School uniforms are good. Firstly, people recognize what school you come from. Secondly, there is no pressure in the morning in deciding what to wear and thirdly you look nice and smart.
I have mixed feeling about this school rule. It is true that students can be distracted if they receive a call or message during the lessons so I agree that phones are not allowed during that time. On the other hand I don’t see any problems using a phone during the breaks as long as they are not used for taking pictures or video other pupils.
I strongly believe that writing homework regularly is very important if you want to understand the things you have been taught in the classroom. Even if you are a very bright pupil you should be aware of the fact that information you have learnt can be quickly forgotten and this is where homework and revising come in. In this way you get deeper understanding of the subject.
In my opinion joining a club is a great way to spend your free time creatively. You also make friends with pupils who have a similar interest. School clubs are fun and exciting and a great way to build skills, learn about teamwork and gain confidence.
